Bootcamp…or not?

Friday, 29 Oct 10

Bootcamps are the thing to do these days it seems. “Bootcamp” is a buzzword. “Bootcamp” sells. “Bootcamp” is the shiz-nit.

So why not jump aboard?

Here’s why NOT.

Because I think you need to get savvy and focus on your core competencies…and that should be CrossFit. Trying to bite off too much, too soon can be a game changer or even a biz breaker. It boggles my mind when I see or read about boxes who start 18 classes a day, do bootcamps, have a jiu-jitsu section, Krav Maga school, Bridal Bootcamp, after school program and then of course some lifting classes. Focus on CROSSFIT. Become an expert in your area.

Here’s WHY.

Because you may be filling a niche that nobody else has touched. Because you have the bandwidth to accomplish the task. Because it’s time.

There are some great reasons to do it…and some to not. You know your business. You know your capabilities. It’s your call.
